New opening Dates in term 2,July 2022

 

The New 2022 Official Secondary schools term dates is out , Reopening & closing Dates for all Schools

 

Following the government of Kenya making a declaration that Monday 11th July 2022 is a public holiday for marking Idd-ul-Adha Celebrations, now all eyes are focusing on ministry of education that is yet to make official communication to all Kenyans whether schools shall be reopened on this day( Monday 11th July 2022 )or not.

 

Going by the ministry of education academic calender for term 2 2022, all schools are expected to be reopened on Monday 11th July 2022.

The calendar provided here is applicable to all secondary school students.

 

Holiday for first term is from 2nd July 2022 to 10th July 2022 (and this shall 7 take 7 days)

 

Term 2 school reopening Dates (11th July 2022 2022), as closing dates is on 16th September 2022. This is a 10 weeks holiday.In this term, here will be Half term break of 7 days from 6th August 2022 to 13th August 2022)

 

Holiday for second term:is f from 17th September 2022 to 25th September 2022 (7 days)Term 3: Opening Dates (26th September 2022), closing dates (25th November 2022)

 

Holiday for third term: from 26th November 2022 to 22nd January 2023 (7 weeks)

All Schools will not have mid break or half term (Update: Mid term breaks have been added)

 

The KCSE and KCPE exams will be on December and November

 

Also there will be a break of 7 weeks to allow candidates do their national national exams.

 

Note: The 2022 KCSE examinations begins on 25th November 2022 and ends on 23rd December 2022
